آرزو کے کنول کھلے ہی نہ تھے

فرض کر لو کہ ہم ملے ہی نہ تھے

کسی پہچان کی نظر سے یہاں

اصل چہرے کہاں گررتے ہیں

زندگی میں تمام چیزوں کو

ہم فقط فرض ہی تو کرتے ہیں

نئی منزل کی راہ ڈھونڈو تم

میرے غم سے پناہ ڈھونڈو تم

بھول جاؤ تمام رشتوں کو

چاک کر دو مرے نوشتوں کو

گل حسرت کھلا نہ سمجھو تم

مجھ کو اپنا صلہ نہ سمجھو تم

ہر نفس جاں کنی ہے جینے میں

اک جہنم ہے میرے سینے میں

یہ میرے کربِ ذات کے آثار

شوق تعمیر کے خرابے ہیں

ان خرابوں میں جاں کنی نے مری

خون تھوکا ہے زخم چابے ہیں

وقت کے جسم کی خراش ہوں میں

اپنے اندر سے پاش پاش ہوں میں

ذات ہے اعتبارِ ذات نہیں

اب تو میں خود بھی اپنے ساتھ نہیں
